Sock Drive

Did you know one of The Horizons Community Groups purposes is to provide service projects within Horizons and our greater community?

The Horizons Community Group has been inspired by our students and would like to help make a larger impact in tandem of their initiating a drive for the unhoused. Please bring your donation to January's Council Meeting or drop off in the front office for the month of January. HCG will deliver our donations to All Roads BOCO.  

Items being collected are:

Toiletries (travel-size preferred):

• Disposable Razors, Shaving Cream

• Soap/Body Wash

• Shampoo

• Deodorant

• Baby Powder/Foot Powder

Over the Counter Medications:

• Ibuprofen, Tylenol, and Aspirin

• Melatonin and Sleep Aids

• Allergy and Cold Medications (alcohol-free)

• Antibiotic Ointment and Band-Aids

• Pepto-Bismol, Antacids

• Mutivitamins, vitamins C, E, Fish Oil

Basic Clothing Items:

• Socks

• Underwear (new)

• Shower Flip Flops

Seasonal Necessities:

• Sunscreen

• Aloe Vera

• Water Bottles

• Rain ponchos

Linens:

• Throw Blankets (twin size, ideally 100% cotton, a good source is here:americandetentionsupplies.com/collections/blankets 

• Towels (bath, hand, wash)

Additional Goods:

• Laundry Detergent
