What is Help At Schools?
Help at Schools is a platform used by BVSD that hosts a school wide family directory and provides a platform to organize events in order to gather volunteers and to facilitate families being able to find contact information for one another.
If you haven't visited the HelpatSchools site in a while, we encourage you to check it out here. Help at Schools is the primary way that we facilitate signups for volunteering.
DIRECTORY: In enrolling as a BVSD family, you have the option to opt in or out of the Help at Schools directory. Please be sure to log in and check your account settings and make sure you have "opted in" if you would like your contact information to be viewable in the directory. If you are opted out, other families will not be able to view your contact information for birthday party invites, playdates, etc.
VOLUNTEER SIGNUPS: You do not need to be an "opted in" member of the school directory to sign up for events on Help at Schools. You can still sign up and choose what information you are willing to share in doing so.
To sign up or check your settings in Help at Schools, navigate to the Horizons K-8 Help at Schools page: https://bvsd.helpatschools.com/schools/21/pages/home.
Click Log-in to select an option to create a new account, reset your password for existing accounts, or to obtain a log-in link.
