Horizons K8 is an amazing school in large part because of our parent community. We intentionally create space for families to gather and create new friends to have for years to come. You make these fun events happen! We have all varieties of opportunities for you to volunteer for. From bringing drinks to Chili Cook-off to organizing the spring auction fundraiser. Social Media Team
The Development Committee needs help! Find yourself parusing FB and Instagram and wondering where the time has gone? Want to do something of benefit with that time? Join Horizons' social media team! "Word of Mouth" means something very different than it did even 10 years ago. Let's help Horizons get the word out about how unique our school is and how much of special place it really is. This volunteer opportuniy can be done at home in the evenings and once a week or even once a month. Please reach out to hk8socialmedia@gmail.com
Dine and Donate
Help organize opportunities for Horizons families to purchase food and portion of the proceeds come back to Horizons. Place could include Krispy Kreme Donuts, In and Out Burger, Mod Market, Chipotle and so much more. hk8development@gmail.com
Spirit Wear
Help organize swag and order more as needed. For example, organizing and ordering for the BVSD Showcase, Back to School Night, ARTastic, and New Parent Night. hk8development@gmail.com
Horizons Business Directory.
Help create and maintain a directory of Horizons families businesses. hk8development@gmail.com
CU Concessions.
Have fun working concessions with fellow Horizons parents at CU football and basketball games while raising money for Horizons. h8development@gmail.com
